For years, Carlos Fresco and his beloved Labradoodle Monty shared a beautiful bond. Together, they explored the hills and trails of Pen y Fan, a majestic mountain in the Brecon Beacons of Wales — a place Monty loved more than anywhere else. 🐶⛰️

But when Monty fell seriously ill with leukemia, his strength began to fade. At just 10 years old, Monty could no longer run, play, or climb as he once did. Knowing their time was short, Carlos made a decision that would break — and warm — hearts around the world:

He lovingly placed Monty in a wheelbarrow and pushed him up the mountain one last time.

As they made their way up the familiar path, strangers joined the journey, offering support, shedding tears, and giving Monty all the love he deserved in his final moments.
