A remarkable goose in Saskatoon, Canada, is gaining attention for a heartwarming reason — she’s looking after not just a few, but 47 baby geese!

Photographer Digout initially went to the Saskatchewan River to capture images of beavers, but instead discovered this extraordinary sight.

This phenomenon, called “gang brooding,” occurs when multiple goose families come together and one adult takes on the role of caretaker.

Over time, Digout noticed the group growing from 16 to an astonishing 47 goslings.

Every night, he returned to witness this mother goose diligently caring for her giant feathered nursery — the little ones cuddling beneath her wings and swimming behind her in perfect formation.

A true supermom in the wild!
